Sailing off to Molly Moon's

Our family went sailing with my husband's boss! It was a beautiful day and calm waters:


For a few hours of relaxation and goofiness:




On the way home we discovered Molly Moon's, a super delicious ice cream shop in the Wallingford district of Seattle. A true "hot" spot on a summer night. The kids ran to find the entrance:

Everyone was delighted with their ice cream choice, even the non-dairy me!

1. Spontaneous outing to Seattle, via the light rail, with two of my teens:

Dinner at Red Robin's on the waterfront, a stroll along the piers, good company and a much needed break from the routine:


2. A trip to the Zoo with my youngest 3 boys and our friend Ryan:

Camel rides, baby tigers, animal shows and jellyfish...just what we needed:

4. Outing with just the boys with a stop in at a greasy burget joint, they make me smile:

Last weekend, on a perfect spring day, Mark and I, joined by our brother and sister in law - Rob and Tina, headed off for adventure on our Motorcycles.

We crossed over on the Edmonds ferry to Kingston. It was pretty cool waiting in line with all the other bikers, first ones on the ferry, first ones off!

Where we ate lunch in a cute place, window shopped, wandered and relaxed. Then we headed out for home:
