Let sleeping dogs lie...

Or is that lay? Hmmmm....
They remind me of the children's book, "Go, Dog, Go!"
Big dog, little dog
Black dog, white dog....

Welcome Inge

Our new puppy! We have been talking on and off for about 6 months about getting a second dog. The kids and I have researched several breeds. Then I met a min-schnauzer at a friend's house recently and liked it. A trip to my local pet store, a great pet store owner, who is knowledgeble, and some more research, plus a daily visit to see a cute little puppy and I was sold!

She is Inge, short for Koenigin Ingwer (queen Ginger), 14 weeks old, purebred miniature schnauzer, champagne colored. I chose the name of Inge and Mark helped me find the full name to match.

The first day home she was so nervous! Today she is a spitfire, chasing our 100 pound lab mix dog around the house. She loves to cuddle, in fact she is asleep on the top of the couch curled up on both Mark and I.

I promise not to become someone who gushes on and on about my dogs ;-), just wanted to introduce her.

Day 17

Manny, my dog:

I've been trying to get a good picture of him for awhile. He's beautiful, huge, adoring, loyal, and great to take camping. When I try to get a picture he looks at me funny. At this point he was looking at a kite that was flying out on the beach, and I think it's the best picture I have gotten of him yet!
