Yesterday was my 35th birthday! It was also coupon day at the amusement/waterslide park, so that was our next adventure in our "camping" week. The weather was cool and cloudy (which by the way still requires sunscreen as my tomato face testifies). So we didn't do much watersliding. The rides were a lot of fun, though, and all 7 kids had a good day.
Here are my highlights from my birthday, in no particular order....
Sore cheeks from laughing and smiling so much on the teacup ride with my 5 year old!
And a sore throat from screaming down the roller coaster with my 10 year old!
Riding the Carousel with all 10 of us and watching the older kids make it fun! Teenagers and tweens can be very creative.
My surprise birthday party, arranged by my husband and hosted by my mom in law. It was a very nice evening surrounded by dear friends and family.
Phone calls from loved ones to wish me happy birthday, you know who you are and I love you!
Onto a new year in life full of exciting and interesting possibilities!
