Merry Christmas

Today we enjoyed many of our favorite traditions: last minute shopping (just a little), eating a great dinner with dear family, singing Christmas carols, lots of laughter. We ended the evening with our traditional reading of the story of the Savior's birth from Luke. Then we opened the traditional Christmas PJ's, a BIG thank you to Grandma who saved me again from the woes of suffering through my minimal sewing skills.

Now I am finishing up some wrapping and getting ready to fill stockings before heading off to bed. The sounds of White Christmas are in the background and perfect words to end with,

"When I'm worried and I can't sleep,
I count my blessings instead of sheep,
I fall asleep counting my blessings.

When my bankroll is gettin' small
I think of when I had none at all,
and I fall asleep counting my blessings.

If you're worried and you can't sleep,
Just count your blessings instead of sheep
And you'll fall asleep counting your blessings."

Better sung than read, but still lovely. I will fall asleep tonight counting my blessings, here are 5 of my best ones:
