Dive in!

Last week we had Joseph's 9th birthday party at the local pool! He loves to swim, and is on the swim team there, so a pool party was a great choice for him. (Also, the bouncy place cost WAY too much to rent ;-) )

He invited a variety of friends and family; school friends, cousins, church friends, the girls we watch sometimes, and their families of course. I love POOL parties! They are simple to host; no house to clean, no fancy food to serve, everyone has fun, the lifeguards do the work while they're in the pool! Most importantly Joseph loved it. Present time was fun! I love kids' reactions to present time. They are so thrilled to see what the birthday kid gets, and to see how he likes what they got him. Joseph loved everything he got. Just a few examples:
