Stationery

Found a new website! I love writing thank you notes, I'm not always good at it, but still...it's a pleasurable thing to do. So for beginning of the year teacher gifts I ordered some personalized notecards (Shhh, Don't tell my kids teachers) from this great site:

www.expressionery.com

Yes, that is ery not ary. And here is W-H-Y: (a quote from the website)

"Stationary versus Stationery
Your probably wondering why they're are too spellings. Well we're hear to tell you their's just one weigh to spell it. This is not a gray/grey discussion, or the Queen's English versus American spelling. They are actually two different words with different meanings that just happen to sound alike.

Stationary is an adjective. It means immobile, non-moving.
Stationery is a noun. It means paper goods for sending correspondence.
One is steeped in history and etiquette, dating back to formal correspondence loaded with unspoken meanings but clear intent. The other literally just sits there. Not really doing much.

Are you using the correct spelling? Kudos to you! Maybe not? It's okay - we still love ewe!"

Enjoy looking around on the site. I ended up ordering a cool personalized stamp set for myself...purely for pleasure not need.

Looks cool. I'll have to check it out. One of the guys I graduated from high school with has a stationery company now. I think it's seraph.com. He's got some pretty cool stuff, but I haven't bought anything yet.
