No, really, they did. A lot.
It's been one of those days, I guess.
But anyway,
A) I can't believe your kids are so big now!
B) I can't imagine mine will ever be that big... Is it actually possible to live through this stage of endless diapers, huge messes created in miliseconds, sleepless nights, and constantly throwing one's back out by carrying small children around everywhere you go?

Thanks for the comments! I hope it was a good cry, you know...theraputic! Here's how I see it:
A) I can't believe those are my kids in the picture, because in my mind they are still little sometimes.
B). It does end. The days of never ending diapers, messes, little baby stuff and toddler trauma. It ends. And when it does it's too sudden and you long to go back to simpler times. Yes, these days of parenting older kids are less overwhelming in the sleep deprived, can't get a moment to myself way....but it's a trade off. Now it's worrying about their future and if you've done enough. Now it's waiting up until all hours to make sure they get home okay. And contantly wondering if they will ever get a job/grow into their hormone driven bodies/stop fighting with each other, etc...
You've heard it before, I've heard it before. Enjoy the moment you are in. Because it will pass, and you will miss it!
C) You are a fantastic mom! You're doing all the right things, and your family is fabulous and lucky!
