The fruits of Kindergarten

The other day my husband and I were talking and our 5 year old came in to ask how to spell "best". We helped him sound it out. Then he came in to ask how to spell "earth". I didn't think much of it, I knew he was drawing in the other room. In a few minutes he came back with this sweet message for us. The reason it stood out to me is that is shows the fruits of his labors (and his teachers) this year in kindergarten. He wrote in complete sentences, with periods, capitols, etc... We were thrilled! On to first grade in the fall...
