Halloween

Ahhh, Halloween. This year was actually fairly stress-free. As the kids get older they do a good job of figuring out creative costumes (or lack therof) and asking for the help they need from me.

The oldest two needed to help at the ward carnival, so we went there first. We saw some of our friends there dressed up, famous people like Hannah Montana (aka: A.B.), Spiderman (aka: P.B.), some fairies (B.G., KD.P.), another pirate (aka: E.B.), army dudes, princes and even "R. Jones" (aka: E.R.).

The boys and I headed home to meet my 8 year old son's friend and his family. We enjoyed over an hour of fun door knocking in our own neighborhood and it wasn't even that cold!

The two oldest boys stayed home and handed out candy, which I appreciated. It was a great evening, we just really wish Dad had been here. Love ya honey!

Joe - Mario (he got a lot of positive comments on his getup):

Peter - the pirate boy!

KT - the princess!

Peter with a silly chicken hat on at the ward carnival, which makes him a silly chicken pirate?

What cute kids! We should have had Ben and Joe go together. Ben was Luigi!

Tammy, I saw that Ben was Luigi. I thought it was funny they even did the same pose.

Wendy, He chose not to this year, thus no trick or treating. but he did enjoy passing out candy at home.
